Welcome to the Bashadrum web site.

Bashadrum is a studio based in Essex owned and run by professional drummer and drum tutor John Wood. It has been specially designed to teach drummers, young and old, beginners and experienced, the finer points of playing. John will guide you through the various elements of the instrument from holding a stick to playing effectively with a band in a live or studio environment. The studio is fully equipped with a Mac G5 and Logic recording software. It can be used to record your lesson, or give you the opportunity to play along with professionally recorded backing tracks.

As well as being an experienced tutor John is also an exceptional musician. If you need drums tracks recorded he can play for you in person wherever you're recording, or remotely at Bashadrum Studio.
