Biography

John began playing at the age of eight and as a schoolboy was a member of 'Abbs Cross Dance Band' and the 'Essex Youth Jazz Orchestra'. He studied with 'The Master' Bob Armstrong for over five years who taught the likes of Steve & Alan White (Paul Weller, Oasis), Phil Gould (Level 42), Andy Gangadeen (M-people & Spice Girls). John has also studied with the great Pete Riley (Republica, Peter Cox, Keith Emerson).

John recorded two albums with his original band 'Waterburner' and was a regular on the London gig circuit at venues such as The Rock Garden and Sound Republic. As well as working with original bands John has also been a member of professional function bands i.e. 'Reflections', 'Apache Show band', 'Guess' and more recently 'Untouchable'.
